MSPs that run ConnectWise Manage can now gain simplified billing and monetization capabilities for VMware and Veeam services across multiple clouds.
The secret sauce involves HyAlto, which develops a multi-cloud monetization platform for VMware and Veeam workloads. Through a new integration, HyAlto can automatically populate ConnectWise Manage with VMware and Veeam usage information for each one of a service provider’s clients, the company says.
HyAlto is expected to demonstrate the solution during the ConnectWise IT Nation Connect 2019 conference later this month in Orlando.
Describing the ConnectWise Manage integration, HyAlto CEO Alan Zurakowski said in a prepared statement:
“HyAlto and ConnectWise share a common vision to help MSPs and CSPs be successful. This is our first native integration with a third-party billing system and we look forward to working together to solve the most acute pain points for technology service providers as they seek to grow their businesses in a multi-cloud world. HyAlto and ConnectWise: More Background
HyAlto first delivered a white-label, IaaS (infrastructure as a service) cloud platform for resellers in 2008.
HyAlto has been scouting the ConnectWise partner ecosystem and MSP marketplace for several months. The multi-cloud management specialist attended the ConnectWise IT Nation Explore 2019 conference in June 2019, and ultimately saw key opportunities to embrace the IT Nation tribe.
On the flip side, ConnectWise has been scouting the Veeam data protection, backup and disaster recovery (BDR) market for several years.
A key indicator: ConnectWise frequently attends the annual VeeamOn conference -- which typically attracts midmarket and enterprise data protection customers along with channel partners.
