A. Today’s Tech, Channel and MSP News

1. Gen AI Demand - ITSM giant, ServiceNow, which describes itself as the leading digital workflow company, raised its forecast on annual subscription revenue this week, saying it expects to attract new clients for its generative AI products as businesses look to automate their workflow.

2. Understanding SMBs - XDR platform Trellix has achieved AWS Small and Medium Business Competency. This recognizes that Trellix understands SMB’s typical deployment models, level of IT capabilities and financing preferences, as well as local and industry requirements, the company said.

3. Trend Micro Joins Up - Cybersecurity offerings from Trend Micro are now available in the Pax8 Marketplace in North America and Europe.

4. New Boss - Infrastructure and managed IT services provider Align, based in New York, has named Vinod Paul as president, effective immediately.  Paul previously served as chief operating officer.

5. Restructuring - ERP giant SAP is expecting AI to deliver efficiencies and has announced a restructuring program that will impact 8,000 jobs or 7.4% of the total workforce.

6. Cybersecurity Ed - Acronis MSP Academy has added 19 new modules and 100-plus videos. They feature a wide range of topics from remote desktop monitoring to Microsoft 365 to effective MSP marketing.

7. Managed Security Consulting - Managed infrastructure services provider Kyndryl has partnered with Cisco for managed security consulting offerings for security services edge (SSE). The partnership will offer two new services.
