SolarWinds this week announced new enhancements to the SolarWinds Partner Program. These updates focus on three key areas, the company said; increasing partner profitability, partner capabilities, and providing partners with necessary tech and sales tools for growth.A new three-tier partner program model will feature enhanced revenue segmentation and margin control to boost partner profitability in 2025, the company said. These changes will go into effect in the coming months.Along with that, this year’s program includes popular growth incentives that reward partners for growth in observability (self-hosted and SaaS), database, and IT service management (ITSM) solutions. A new SolarWinds Services Certification Program (SCCP) certifies services partners to sell and deliver SolarWinds Premium Support Add-On services when partners’ team include a SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) and a SolarWinds Certified Instructor (SCI).Finally, SolarWinds enhanced its partner portal to provide new tools and a better user experience, the company said. These updates will improve partner business planning, partner marketing automation tools, integrated Google Ads activation, and updated lead-sharing capabilities, among other benefits. Zoho launches Zia AI agents: Zoho has launched Zia Agents, an AI-powered platform enabling enterprises to deploy digital agents across IT, HR, sales, and customer support within Zoho’s 100+ product ecosystem, including ManageEngine. Zia Agent Studio, a no-code/low-code builder, and the Zia Agent Marketplace, businesses can customize, deploy, and scale customized AI agents. Initial pre-built agents include an IT Help Desk Agent, SalesCoach Agent, and HR Agent. 2. Syncro names new chairman of the board: MSP platform provider Syncro announced it has appointed Peter Gyenes as chairman of its board of directors. Gyenes is a well-known figure in Boston’s tech community and has held leadership roles at companies like Ascential Software, Informix, Sophos, Pegasystems, and RealPage. He also won the New England Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and was a Trustee Emeritus of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council. His appointment follows Syncro’s recent news about expanding the company’s platform beyond MSPs to internal IT. Congratulations!3. DoiT acquires PerfectScale for Kubernetes automation: Cloud optimization firm DoiT has acquired PerfectScale, an automated Kubernetes (K8s) platform. This acquisition furthers DoiT’s capabilities by enabling greater insight into cluster performance, identifying opportunities to tune those environments based on operational priorities, and automating tasks. It also provides visibility in multi-cloud, AI-driven pattern analysis, detailed reporting for ROI and more. The acquisition is a crucial part of DoiT’s M&A roadmap, the company said.4. Everfox cross-sector collaboration: High-assurance cybersecurity firm Everfox this week released its Multi-Enterprise Spanning Architecture (MESA), which facilitates secure collaboration and data sharing between government agencies and mission partners. The platform is built on Everfox’s existing Trusted Thin Client (TTC) solution, which allows agencies to securely connect with other organizations’ enclaves while maintaining control over their own resources. This is a more secure approach to sensitive data-sharing, the firm said.5. OneTrust names new CMO: Responsible AI and data firm OneTrust has appointed Michael Schanker as Chief Marketing Officer. Schanker will report to CEO Kabir Barday, and he will focus on boosting visibility of OneTrust’s solutions in the market, the company said. Schanker has nearly 25 years experience in the industry. Before OneTrust, he most recently served as EVP of Strategy for Coupa Software where he scaled the company from $300 million to $1 billion in revenue.
