It's Thursday, folks! The weekend is in sight! But first, coffee ... and the daily channel briefs.

Today, I'm looking at Kaseya's leadership shuffle in EMEA and APAC. Dermot McCann moves on up to the role of executive VP and general manager, EMEA, while Daniel Garcia takes over as VP and general manager for APAC. HackerOne has launched its very first channel program, aiming to leverage the community of ethical hackers it built to provide 'human-centric' security.

There's also some partnership announcements -- Wipro and Zscaler are teaming up on a Cyber X-Ray and Kyndryl and AWS are getting together to provide deeper security insights -- and a federal government service provider acquisition.

I hope to see some of you next week at Pax8 Beyond in Denver! You can always drop me a line at [email protected] if you have news, tips, gossip, or just want to say hi.

In the meantime, grab your coffee. Here’s what you need to know today.

Today’s Tech, Channel and MSP News

1. HackerOne Launches Channel Program: HackerOne this week launched its first channel program, called PartnerOne. The program aims to meet a growing demand for cybersecurity solutions that leverage the global ethical hacker community, according to a statement from the company. PartnerOne gives partners the ability to sell HackerOne solutions, primarily through channel and technology partners, including value-added resellers (VARs), solutions providers and referral partners, among others. The program offers comprehensive support, free online training and enablement, opportunity management, lead source sharing, renewals managers, and more. HackerOne appointed John Addeo as VP of global channels, to bring his more than two decades of global enterprise IT and cybersecurity business expertise to lead PartnerOne, according to the statement.

2. Kyndryl, AWS Team Up For Threat Insights: IT managed services firm Kyndryl has announced new Threat Insights Managed Services with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help businesses have greater visibility into anticipating and responding to cyber threats, the companies said. Kyndryl and AWS are building these scalable security and resiliency offerings atop the Amazon Security Lake to help with centralizing data and applying analysis, according to a statement. The service automatically centralizes an organization’s security data from across their AWS environments to provide customers with greater visibility, driving enhanced identification, mitigation and response of sophisticated cybersecurity risks.

3. Wipro, Zscaler Launch AI-Assisted Cyber X-Ray: Wipro has partnered with Zscaler to introduce Wipro Cyber X-Ray, an AI-assisted decision support platform to help executives make security investment decisions and communicate cyber values to senior leadership and the board. Assessing comprehensive risk visibility and justifying cybersecurity spending can be tough, to put it mildly. Wipro Cyber X-Ray aims to give executives a way to visualize cyber risk posture, activate cyber initiatives, and determine over- or under-investment in security programs.

4. Kaseya Makes Leadership Adjustments in EMEA, APAC: CRN reported that Kaseya has made major leadership changes across EMEA and APAC. Dermot McCann will take on the role of executive VP and general manager, EMEA, while Daniel Garcia becomes VP and general manager for APAC, taking over McCann's previous role. Garcia helped launch TruPeer, Kaseya's MSP training and mentoring group in Australia, and in his new role will oversee the go-to-market strategy for APAC, including new business and account management. Congratulations!

5. Tyto Athene Acquires MindPoint Group: Federal systems integrator Tyto Athene, LLC, has agreed to acquire MindPoint Group, which provides managed cybersecurity services to the U.S. federal government. Tyto is a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, a Washington, D.C.-area private investment firm specializing in government-regulated industries. Tyto focuses on networking, enterprise IT, and cybersecurity services for U.S. defense, national security, intelligence, space, and public safety agencies worldwide, according to a statement from the company. As a pure-play cybersecurity provider, MindPoint will bolster Tyto’s cybersecurity capabilities and expand its current footprint in the federal civilian market. MindPoint is an ISO 9001-certified organization with expertise in cyber defense; governance, risk, and compliance; architecture and engineering; and proactive security services.
