Channel Brief: ConnectWise Unveils SaaS Security for MSPs

Following the news that it will acquire Moveworks for $2.85 billion, ServiceNow today launched additional AI enhancements to its platform.

The company's Yokohama platform release includes new agentic AI and intelligent workflow capabilities as well as simplified AI agent management via AI Agent Orchestrator and AI Agent Studio to help customers quickly build, onboard, and measure the performance of AI agents, new enterprise observability management with Service Observability to unify insights across an organization’s observability ecosystem, AI-powered application and workflow development through ServiceNow Studio, which enables pro-code, low-code, and no-code developers to build and deploy AI-driven workflows faster.

Finally, an enhanced Common Service Data Model (CSDM) provides a framework to manage technology, AI, and live agent interactions.

1. ConnectWise SaaS Security: ConnectWise this week unveiled its ConnectWise SaaS Security solution aimed at MSPs that manage and monetize Microsoft 365 security services. ConnectWise SaaS security provides MSPs with security event monitoring and management capabilities while enhancing security engagement and remediation with small to medium-sized business (SMB) customers.

2. XeneX SOC, IRONSCALES strategic partnership: XeneX SOC Managed Services and email security solutions provider IRONSCALES this week announced a strategic partnership to deliver an integrated cybersecurity solution for large enterprises and two-tier MSPs. This collaboration combines XeneX SOC's MSS capabilities with IRONSCALES's email security platform.

3. AWS, Publicis Sapient collaboration for IT modernization: Publicis Sapient, a digital business transformation company, today announced a five-year global strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they will use AWS’s artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies to accelerate how enterprises modernize and migrate their IT workloads. The companies will build solutions combining Publicis Sapient’s deep delivery capability and AWS’s advanced cloud services to help customers across industries accelerate migrating legacy workloads to the cloud.

4. SUSE Cloud Elevate program for MSPs: SUSE has launched its SUSE Cloud Elevate Program for managed service providers (MSPs), a new program under the SUSE One Partner Program specifically designed for MSPs. MSPs will now be able to sell SUSE’s new SaaS suite of Enterprise Container Management open-source solutions via AWS Marketplace, including SUSE Cloud Observability, SUSE Application Collection, and, coming soon, SUSE Rancher Hosted, allowing them to expand their service offerings for diverse client needs.

5. Extreme Networks names new CICO: What's a CICO? It's a chief information and customer officer -- a new role that integrates technology with customer experience, according to Extreme Networks. And Extreme this week named Anisha Vaswani to the CICO role, the company said, to oversee IT strategy and customer success initiatives. Prior to Extreme, Anisha served in several CIO roles at prominent companies such as IDG, Box, and Toast, and her background in cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and AI will help drive Extreme’s networking technology, including its Extreme Platform ONE. Congratulations!
