1. Huntress CEO Hanslovan Talks to NYSG: The New York Style Guide profiled Kyle Hanslovan, CEO and founder of Huntress -- and it's a great look into the life of the 38-year-old behind the company. 2. How SOCs Can Adapt to Secure the Edge: Forbes has a great piece on organizations' struggles to deal with a growing number of devices collecting, processing and transmitting data at the network’s edge. Traditional security strategies are struggling to keep pace, and security operations centers (SOCs) face new challenges in protecting an ever-expanding digital perimeter. The piece asked 20 members of Forbes Technology Council to discuss how SOC strategies can adapt to protect a burgeoning network of edge devices.
3. Globant Doubles Down on AI: Digital transformation consulting and services firm Globant has launched its AI Reinvention Network, which aims to prepare vertical markets for a new wave of AI transformation, Globant said in a statement. Some of the Studios in the Network are Connected Experiences, Automotive, Media and Entertainment, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Finance, Airlines, Hospitality and Leisure, Games, EdTech, Business Hacking, Sports, Retail, Smart Payments and Sustainable Business. That's a pretty significant transformation!
4. Vendavo Names Eric Carrasquilla to CEO Role: B2B pricing, selling and rebate solutions firm Vendavo announced last week it appointed Eric Carrasquilla as CEO. Carrasquilla brings deep product strategy and product management expertise and will help the company continue its growth. He joins Vendavo from customer engagement, revenue management, and payment solutions firm CSG where he was executive vice president and division president. Prior to CSG, he served in executive product leadership roles at Conga and Model N. Congratulations!
5. Citi Ventures Makes Strategic Investment in Endor Labs: Software supply chain security startup Endor Labs today announced a strategic investment from Citi Ventures. Though the amount of this investment was not disclosed, it comes less than a year after the company received $70M in oversubscribed Series A financing from Lightspeed Venture Partners (LSVP), Coatue, Dell Technologies Capital, Section 32 and more than 30 industry-leading CEOs, CISOs and CTOs. Endor Labs was founded in 2022 by industry veterans and serial entrepreneurs Varun Badhwar and Dimitri Stiliadis.
