A More Complete Migration Strategy for MSPs
MSPs have traditionally leaned on MigrationWiz to handle mailbox, data, and basic Active Directory moves. The PowerSyncPro partnership changes the scope of what BitTitan can help them deliver.
Aaron Wadsworth, General Manager at BitTitan, laid out the idea simply and told ChannelE2E: "The partnership expands the BitTitan portfolio and helps MSPs go beyond data and mailbox migration. MigrationWiz keeps its core role, while PowerSyncPro’s Directory Sync and Migration Agent fill the gaps around identity and workstation transitions that were previously out of reach."
He pointed out why this matters now. "Together, these capabilities support end-to-end migration journeys, especially in moments of organizational change like mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. A single toolkit lets partners work faster, handle tougher scenarios, and build new services around hybrid identity and device readiness."
That framing reflects the reality of today’s MSP projects: fewer small, isolated moves and more complex, multi-layered transitions.
Making Identity Modernization Easier to Manage
BitTitan has also been strengthening its approach to Active Directory and Entra ID. The latest enhancements in MigrationWiz Active Directory lean toward simplicity, things like SID history preservation, smoother handling of computers and printers, automatic password generation, and more flexible options for how users are created. These updates remove friction for organizations trying to modernize identity systems without slowing down day-to-day work.
For larger or more mixed environments, PowerSyncPro Directory Sync adds real-time identity synchronization across Active Directory, Entra ID, and Google Workspace. It’s designed to keep access aligned across systems, even as environments shift.
Wadsworth highlighted why this continuity matters: Directory Sync keeps identity information consistent while changes are underway. It synchronizes in real time, which means access stays intact even as teams modernize. It’s a practical reminder that identity work, often invisible to end users, has become central to any IT transition, especially as companies prepare for AI-driven workloads.
Bringing Workstation Migration Into the Picture
Workstation moves tend to be messy, and often sit outside the rest of the migration plan. With the introduction of PowerSyncPro’s Migration Agent through BitTitan, that step becomes easier to manage and far less disruptive.
Wadsworth explained the value clearly: "Migration Agent automates workstation migrations while preserving profiles, applications, and settings. Employees can log in right after the transition without losing anything or flooding the help desk with issues."

He also pointed to rising demand in the market and emphasized that organizations are restructuring more often and preparing for AI-driven workloads. By using multiple BitTitan solutions together, MSPs can offer broader services, stand out in competitive deals, and create recurring revenue while helping customers modernize securely. It’s a realistic look at how partners can turn shifting customer needs into long-term service opportunities.
Directory Sync and Migration Agent are available directly through BitTitan now and will roll out to global distributors soon. Combined with MigrationWiz, the expanded portfolio covers mailbox, document, Teams, directory, device, and identity migrations across Microsoft and Google environments. The goal is straightforward: give organizations and service providers a more connected way to modernize without slowing down the business, and build the foundation needed for the next wave of cloud and AI transformation.
