Augmentt is leveraging its recent $18 million Series A funding to enhance its platform and deepen its integrations within the Microsoft ecosystem. According to reporting by CRN, the company aims to assist Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in capitalizing on the growing demand for security, compliance and AI solutions by expanding their services beyond Microsoft 365.
Augmentt's strategy focuses on connecting various Microsoft technologies, including Intune, SharePoint, and Teams, to help MSPs build a more robust security ecosystem for their clients. CEO Derik Belair highlighted that the funding is being allocated to sales, marketing, and accelerated product development, with a particular emphasis on international growth and strengthening the MSP channel. The company is also addressing the increasing need for compliance, providing MSPs with tools to establish and prove controls for frameworks like CMMC, PCI, and HIPAA.
Additionally, Augmentt sees AI readiness, especially with tools like Microsoft Copilot, as a significant opportunity for MSPs, while also using AI internally to streamline its own operations and support. The core objective remains to empower MSPs to monetize the Microsoft investments they are already making for their customers, transforming these services into repeatable revenue streams.
