Technology as a Service: Easing MSP Cash Flow

The way you sell technology is changing, and Ingram Micro understands that you need new financing options to keep up. While commercial lending offers more traditional financing options, your business model is evolving from hardware sales and fulfillment to recurring-revenue cloud and managed services solutions.

If making the transition to an MSP model is causing a cash crunch, Ingram Micro Financial Solutions’ technology as a service (TaaS) offerings might be the right options for you.

TaaS rentals

Launched in May 2017, the TaaS program includes new TaaS rental options, such as new notebooks, desktops and tablets. The rental option offers a flexible rental period after a 12-month initial commitment, with a price drop of 35% thereafter. Here are a few examples:

  • HP Smart Buy 280 G2—$534.86 replacement cost, $28.39/month for the first 12 months, $18.45/month thereafter
  • Lenovo ThinkPad T470—$1047.93 replacement cost, $51.95/month for the first 12 months, $33.76/month thereafter
  • Dell Latitude 5580—$757.93 replacement cost, $36.00/month for the first 12 months, $23.40/month thereafter

TaaS lease

This new type of leasing option allows you to include monthly recurring or variable services fees on the same invoice as products purchased from Ingram Micro and other sources. All technology sold by Ingram Micro is eligible.

All on one invoice and a single monthly payment

What’s unique about our TaaS finance offerings? We can create bundled multivendor solutions, including your managed services, with one monthly invoice and payment for the end customer, so you can offer them a total technology solution for one monthly payment. This includes consolidating the cost of hardware, warranties, software licenses, cloud services and professional services into a single monthly invoice. Or, if you qualify, your managed services fees can be advanced to you a year at a time. An option to white-label the offering in your name is also available.
