1. MSP Software - Account Management: BeeCastle has released MSP Opportunity Manager, a new integrated tool for MSPs that use ConnectWise. The tool allows MSPs to automate account management activities, measure client engagement, find whitespace, and analyze & drive revenue, BeeCastle said.
2. MSP Software - RMM Migration Discounts: N-able is offering its N-central software for just $1 for up to 12 months to MSPs that want to migrate from rival platforms. Details are here.
3. MSP Software- Remote IT Support: JumpCloud is preparing to launch JumpCloud Remote Assist, a free cloud-based solution that "allows IT admins and MSPs to support global workers by quickly accessing remote end-user devices at the click of a button," the company said.
4. IT Consulting and Private Equity: Apollo Global Management and Cerberus Capital Management have approached Atos about potentially acquiring the IT consulting firm's Tech Foundations business, a French newsletter reported. It's unclear if such a deal will emerge.
5. Apple Mac Upgrades: Best Buy has introduced Upgrade+ powered by Citizens Pay, making it "easy and affordable for customers to experience and upgrade to the latest Mac laptops with Apple silicon, including MacBook Air and MacBook Pro," the companies said.
6. 5G Partner Program: Kajeet, a provider of private wireless and managed IoT connectivity, has launched a national channel partner program for IT vendors, system integrators, MSPs and VARs.
7. Partnership - Application Security: Sonatype and CyberRes, a Micro Focus line of business, have partnered to provide with a "complete open source and application security solution" for supply chain protection.
8. Channel Chief - Insider Risk Management: Code42, has unified its channel, advisory and technology partner programs under the leadership of Ananth Appathurai, senior vice president of channel and alliance partners.
