2. M&A Advisor - Service Providers: ContinuServe has announced an M&A consortium of 14 partnering service providers that "work together to deliver comprehensive, structured merger and acquisition (M&A) transaction services that individually would not be possible," the organization said.
3. M&A Rumor - Outsourcing: Bain Capital Specialty Finance (BCSF) may acquire VXI Global Solutions from The Carlyle Group, Bloomberg reported.
4. Executive Leadership - Cloud Marketplace: Pax8 has named Scott Chasin as chief technology officer. Chasin will oversee Pax8 engineers, research and development initiatives, and intellectual property for the company. Pax8 has grown both organically and through acquisition, and may be gearing up for a potential IPO.
5. Cloud Distribution Services: TD Synnex and Amazon Web Services have announced a strategic collaboration agreement that spans North America, Latin America, and Caribbean regions. The companies have had a similar relationship in place in Europe since 2020.
6. Distribution - Endpoint Security: TD Synnex has agreed to distribute SentryBay's Armored Client and Data Protection Suite solutions.
7. CEO Transition - Broadband Services: Carla J. French will succeed J. Brian Singleton as CEO of TruVista, a provider of broadband services across South Carolina and Georgia, on February 2, 2022. Singleton will become chairman of the board of directors.
8. Integration - Data Protection: DataCore Software's object storage platform has qualified as a "Veeam Ready - Object” and “Veeam Ready – Object with Immutability” solution.
