Two IT Consulting Firms Create Tier4 Group
Robinson Key and the professional services and security practice from Tier4 Advisors will be rebranded as Tier4 Group. The newly formed entity will operate alongside and in partnership with the Tier4 Advisors organization, the company said.
The creation of the company will allow Tier4 Advisors’ clients direct access to a network of IT candidates through Tier4 Group. Robinson Key clients will gain access to Tier4 Advisors’ network of more-than 650 partners and service providers, the company asserted.
Jake Sherrill, founder and chairman of Tier4 Advisors, explained the new partnership:
“Over the years, Tier4 Advisors’ clients have asked us for a litany of different things. We do a colocation project with them, and they ask us for help with a professional services project. We help them with a global telephony project, and they ask us to manage and run their entire IT sourcing department. We work with them on a DRaaS project and they ask us to help them find five full-time employees for their infrastructure team. So a natural progression for Tier4 Advisors is to continue expanding in areas our clients are asking us for help in. Thus, the partnership with Robinson Key makes a lot of sense. Robinson Key has been a partner of Tier4 Advisors for years and we’re excited for the creation of this new entity.”
Robinson Key’s founder Betsy Robinson will maintain a leadership role as president and CEO of Tier4 Group.
“In creating Tier4 Group, we saw a clear opportunity to merge Robinson Key’s proven performance in IT staffing and talent acquisition with a growing technology solutions and services provider in Tier4 Advisors. Our firms both share the same cultural values, and this partnership is an exciting opportunity to offer a wider breadth of services to our existing and future clients.”
Tier4 Advisors is a vendor-agnostic IT advisor with a proprietary database of over 650 vendor partners around the glove. Tier4 Group will handle professional services; security; and full-time, part-time, and contract labor.
Tier4 Advisors plans to open 20 new offices in 2019 through its “Regional President” partner strategy.
