Sentra, Wiz Link Data Risk to Cloud Findings

Sentra has integrated its data security platform with Wiz to bring data sensitivity context into cloud security findings. The integration feeds Sentra’s classification data into the Wiz Security Graph, allowing security teams to see which cloud risks are tied to sensitive or regulated data.

The update focuses on prioritization. Security teams can identify which misconfigurations or attack paths intersect with business-critical data, narrowing remediation efforts to issues with real impact. This approach is intended to reduce alert volume and help teams move faster from detection to response in environments where AI workloads are increasing data exposure risk.

Sentra’s data classification updates are synced into Wiz on an ongoing basis, keeping risk context aligned with changes in data and permissions. The integration also connects cloud posture, data sensitivity, and access into a single view, giving security, cloud, and compliance teams a shared framework for evaluating risk.
