Delinea Expands IBM Partnership to Strengthen Privileged Identity Management

Delinea has expanded its OEM agreement with IBM to make the full Delinea Platform available to IBM customers, marking a new phase in their long-standing collaboration. The move integrates Delinea’s cloud-native identity security capabilities directly within IBM’s ecosystem, giving enterprises broader control over human and machine identities through centralized authorization.

The two companies first partnered in 2018, focusing on helping organizations build a stronger identity foundation. With this expansion, IBM customers can now access Delinea’s complete portfolio of privileged access and intelligent authorization solutions, designed to provide consistent controls across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The goal is to make it easier for enterprises to manage privileged accounts and mitigate identity-related risks that continue to dominate the threat landscape.

The partnership also improves visibility and governance over privileged activities. By bringing Delinea’s capabilities into the IBM Verify Privileged Identity Platform, security and IT teams can better track compliance requirements and streamline policy enforcement without adding operational complexity. This unified approach helps organizations maintain control across distributed systems and accelerate incident response.

The full Delinea Platform will be available through IBM Verify in Q4 2025, reflecting both companies’ commitment to helping enterprises modernize identity security and align access management with evolving risk and compliance priorities.
