Cayosoft has launched Microsoft Migration Services, a new offering for organizations modernizing identity and collaboration environments across Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365. The service is being delivered with XMS Solutions, a migration and cybersecurity services provider, and covers Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and related identity infrastructure.

The launch comes as Microsoft environments become more complex for enterprises managing hybrid identity, cloud migration, mergers and acquisitions, and long-running coexistence between legacy and modern systems. Cayosoft is positioning migration as part of a broader identity modernization effort, rather than a technical cutover alone. The company said the service includes pre-migration assessments, phased execution, validation of data integrity, access permissions, metadata and version history, followed by monitoring, governance and recovery after the migration is complete.

Active Directory and Entra ID sit at the center of user access, application trust and security policy. A migration that leaves behind broken permissions, duplicated identities or poorly governed access can create problems long after the project is marked complete. The risk is higher during M&A, divestitures and consolidation projects, where IT teams often need to move quickly while keeping users, applications and collaboration tools running.

For MSPs, systems integrators and Microsoft-focused service providers, the announcement is pointing to a larger services opportunity around identity cleanup, migration planning and operational resilience. Customers may already be committed to Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, but many still need help reducing risk across hybrid environments. Cayosoft is trying to attach migration work to ongoing management, monitoring and recovery. That gives partners a clearer way to frame Microsoft modernization as a longer-term identity and security engagement, not just a project with a go-live date.
