The global IT operations and service management (ITOSM) market will reach nearly $31 billion in 2024, up from $17.44 billion in 2015, according to Transparency Market Research. That's a 6.5 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR), TMR says.
Larger organizations are true believers in ITOSM, but small and midsized businesses are still not entirely sold on the idea of investing in IT operations and service management because they continue to remain skeptical about the return on investment, the researcher says.
ChannelE2E Says: MSPs are particularly well positioned as smaller companies seek to automate services without hiring the IT talent to do so. Also, NOC (network operations center) providers that manage customer services for MSPs will be well-positioned to take on these additional workloads.
