Onica (Los Angeles) has acquired DevOps specialist TriNimbus Technologies of Vancouver, Canada -- essentially uniting two Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Consulting Partners.The acquisition helps Onica expand its reach north while leveraging TriNimbus custom solution deployment tools. Those tools will be added to the Onica Platform library.Onica CEO Stephen Garden offered this perspective:Added TriNimbus Co-founder and CTO Goran ("Kima") Kimovski:Onica, founded in 1983 under a previous name, began lift started focusing on AWS projects about four years ago. The company raised $20 million and acquired Sturdy Networks, another AWS partner, in 2017.TriNimbus, founded in 2015, has expanded across five offices and launching multiple AWS community user groups. Kimovski led the development of various DevOps, container, and security solutions at TriNimbus.
