Vancouver-based LinkPoint IT Solutions has acquired Radius Technologies of Surrey, British Columbia.

Radius is an MSP that focuses primarily on the small-to-medium business markets. The deal will help LinkPoint expand and deepen its managed service portfolio. Radius clientele “have access to seamlessly managed consulting, monitoring and support solutions as a unified whole in order to deploy and deliver IT services more rapidly and efficiently,” the companies say.

LinkPoint, which has offered consultancy services in the region since 1999, says the acquisition supports its growth strategy, strengthens its platform, and develops its service offering. The company plans to continue this strategy both organically and through acquisitions. LinkPoint says it expects to further benefit from an increased share of managed IT services and growing cloud adoption.

Under the terms of the agreement, Radius owner Sean Hiebert transitions to IT services manager within LinkPoint. “The decision to be acquired and merge with the team at LinkPoint Consulting will allow a full skillset to support our clients in all their IT needs,” said Hiebert. “We’re excited for the future and are looking forward to increasing our visibility working with a more dynamic clientele.”

LinkPoint’s CEO Kyle Sarwal called the two companies an excellent fit for one another, saying they share the same values and a similar culture, as well as pre-existing relationships from their ongoing partnerships. “This is an exciting day for both companies and we look forward to our continued growth,” he said.
