Channel Brief: Nutanix Resets Partner Experience, AvTek Turns Compliance into Revenue, and More This Week

Getty Images

This week’s updates show a clear shift in the partner world: vendors are removing friction instead of adding layers. The new focus is on real automation and simplicity. Nutanix’s Partner Central feels like a fresh start - it puts all key metrics and rebate details in one place and sets the groundwork for AI tools like PartnerGPT to make data useful. AvTek’s new compliance service takes a similar approach, turning a common burden into a resale opportunity so MSPs can offer compliance expertise without building it in-house.

Channelscaler and Gradient MSP are tackling automation where it matters most. Channelscaler’s agent-driven tools handle the repetitive tasks that eat up partner time, while Gradient’s MSP Studio+ fixes a long-standing marketing gap for smaller MSPs through a “content-as-a-service” model. And Veeam continues to simplify the basics with its Data Cloud for MSPs, a secure, scalable platform for backup and resilience that fits how service providers actually work.

This Week's Tech, Channel, and MSP News

Nutanix introduces Partner Central: Nutanix has introduced Partner Central, a unified, intelligence-driven platform that will simplify how partners engage with the company and grow their business. The platform consolidates sales dashboards, rebate tracking, and Elevate program insights into one hub, giving partners real-time visibility and faster access to opportunity data. Grounded in Nutanix’s “Big Four” principles (Profitability, Product, Long-Term Commitment, and Trust), Partner Central aims to strengthen collaboration, improve efficiency, and support sustainable partner growth. Upcoming enhancements will add AI-driven tools like PartnerGPT, role-based views, and renewal insights, reinforcing Nutanix’s commitment to a transparent, channel-first strategy.

AvTek launches new compliance service for MSPs: AvTek Solutions has launched a new compliance service designed to help MSPs stay audit-ready without the overhead of building in-house teams. The program gives partners access to experienced CISOs, CISSPs, and analysts who handle policy creation, risk management, and auditor interactions - areas where most tools fall short. With no upfront costs or partner fees, MSPs pay only when they sell the service, making it an accessible way to meet client and regulatory demands. More than a paperwork exercise, AvTek’s model provides MSPs with a virtual compliance officer and continuous regulatory updates to help them avoid the growing legal and financial risks of non-compliance.

Channelscaler expands PRM platform: Channelscaler is expanding its AI-powered Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platform with new automation modules designed to simplify how vendors and partners collaborate. The latest updates add lead distribution management, enhanced partner locator, and partner application management features, aimed at streamlining engagement, improving deal flow, and strengthening partner retention. On the AI side, Channelscaler is introducing document intelligence for faster incentive validation and an AI Deal Registration Agent to accelerate approvals. Upcoming capabilities like ChannelBot, Smart Designer, and module-specific agents will offer in-platform guidance and modeling to reduce manual effort across the partner lifecycle.

Gradient MSP launches MSP Studio+: Gradient MSP has launched MSP Studio+, an automated marketing platform designed to help MSPs promote their businesses without hiring a dedicated marketing team. Building on the success of its free MSP Studio resource hub, the new platform offers a ready-to-use content library with branded graphics, posts, blogs, and emails that can be customized and scheduled to multiple channels in seconds. A “Prestige Plan” provides fully managed, white-glove service for MSPs that want a hands-off experience. Gradient CEO Colin Knox described it as “marketing on autopilot,” aimed at MSPs who’ve struggled to keep up with consistent marketing.

Veeam Data Cloud now available for MSPs: Veeam’s new Data Cloud for MSPs puts the focus squarely on partner efficiency and growth. It gives managed service providers a single, secure SaaS platform to manage backup and resilience for Microsoft 365 and Entra ID without the usual infrastructure overhead. From deployment to threat analytics, everything runs through one interface, making it easier to scale, protect client data, and reduce noise in day-to-day operations. The update pairs with the new Veeam Service Provider Console v9, which adds unified management, AI-driven insights, and deeper integration with the Veeam Data Platform.
