The framework integrates people, processes, and technology under a governance- and security-first model to turn AI strategy into measurable business outcomes. Built around five core pillars - insight, accelerators, automation, approach, and process - Xponential provides a repeatable structure for responsible AI deployment and continuous improvement. DXC says the framework is already driving impact across industries, from automating workflows at Textron and supporting antibiotic decisions at Singapore General Hospital to advancing research collaboration at the European Space Agency.

Commvault introduces Conversational AI and Data Rooms to advance AI-driven cyber resilience: Commvault has added two new capabilities to its Commvault Cloud platform - Conversational AI with MCP Server and Data Rooms - to help enterprises simplify backup operations and unlock new value from their data. Conversational AI uses Commvault’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect with enterprise GenAI assistants like ChatGPT Enterprise and Claude, allowing users to configure and manage backups through natural language commands while maintaining strict security and policy guardrails. Data Rooms provides a secure workspace for transforming backup data into AI-ready assets, enabling governed access, classification, and redaction across hybrid environments. Both capabilities are designed to help organizations move beyond traditional backup toward intelligent, AI-optimized resilience. Conversational AI enters early access in November 2025, with Data Rooms expected to reach general availability in winter 2026.

Chainguard secures $280M to expand trusted open-source software platform: Chainguard has raised $280 million in new funding led by General Catalyst to accelerate adoption of its secure open-source software platform. Founded in 2021, Chainguard helps organizations build and run open-source software with reduced risk through hardened base container images, libraries, and VM formats verified for security and free from known vulnerabilities. The company now offers more than 1,700 minimal container images across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, integrating directly into CI/CD workflows. CEO Dan Lorenc said Chainguard’s mission is to “make open source trustworthy by default,” combining security and speed across the software supply chain. The funding will expand go-to-market and product initiatives as trusted open source becomes critical infrastructure for global enterprises.
