Lansweeper Acquires Redjack to Deepen IT Asset Intelligence

Illustration and Painting

Lansweeper has acquired Redjack to strengthen its ability to map network connections and application dependencies, areas that are increasingly important for cybersecurity, business continuity, and IT operations, reports CRN. The goal is to help organizations not just discover their assets but also understand how those assets interact, especially in complex, hybrid environments. This is where Redjack’s traffic analysis and application dependency data adds value.

The integration of Redjack’s capabilities gives Lansweeper more depth in detecting unmanaged or transient assets, while also layering in visibility into how systems communicate internally and externally. That level of detail supports initiatives like zero trust security and disaster recovery planning. It also opens up new use cases in business function mapping and cost control.

Channel partners stand to benefit from this move, especially those involved in ITSM, security services, or infrastructure modernization. The combined platform gives partners more actionable intelligence to work with, whether that’s helping clients prioritize vulnerabilities, plan migrations, or streamline how they deliver managed services.

The two companies have already started merging their platforms, with proof-of-concept integrations underway. Lansweeper says the full rollout will happen in phases through the end of the year. In the meantime, Redjack’s team, customer base, and technology are being folded into Lansweeper’s business with a focus on continuity and support.
