Acquisition: JB Kane
Details: Managed IT services provider ICS acquired JB Kane, a Liverpool, New York-based IT consulting firm and HP Inc. partner.
Acquisition: Integral Solutions Group (ISG)
Details: The deal expanded expand Immedion to nine data centers in seven markets.
Details: Fluido is a Salesforce cloud consulting, implementation and training partner with reach across Europe. Financial terms were not publicly announced, but a regulatory filing revealed the deal has a $76 million price tag.
Buyer: Ingage Partners
Acquisition: Management buyout
Details: The company transitioned to a 100 percent ESOP (employee stock ownership plan) buisness ownership model in June 2018.
Buyer: Inoca Capital Partners
Private Equity: Inoca Capital Partners
Details: Levementum sold off its SugarCRM practice, doubled down on Salesforce consulting, and raised $4 million from Inoca.
Buyer: Insight Enterprises
Acquisition: Cardinal Solutions
Details: Global systems integrator Insight Enterprises acquired Microsoft partner Cardinal Solutions for application development services across mobile, web, analytics cloud services & more.
Acquisition: Lightspeed Technologies
Details: Lightspeed is a Cisco Meraki partner. This is IntegraONE’s fourth acquisition in the Pennsylvania region. Previous deals involved Classing Networking in 2010; 7 Layer Solutions in 2012; and Quatro Systems in 2017.
Buyer: Integration Technologies Inc. (“Intech”)
Acquisition: Kali Systems Inc.
Details: Both companies are Hawaiian managed service providers, with Intech focusing on cybersecurity and compliance and Kali Systems working with Hawaii-based healthcare customers.
Acquisition: Acutech Network Services
Private Equity: Alpine Investors
Details: This was Austin, Texas-based Integritek’s fifth acquisition in the last 12 months and its first since accepting an investment from Evergreen Services Group in August 2018.
Buyer: Internap (INAP)
Details: INAP acquired SingleHop for $132 million in cash — a valuation of roughly 7 times annual EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) after synergies kick in. The deal combined two major IT service providers that offer colocation, managed, cloud and network services.
Acquisition: Infiniti Consulting Group
Details: Cisco Systems partner InterVision, backed by private equity funding, acquired Infiniti Consulting Group — an Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud consulting partner with a history of working within the public sector.
Details: Bluelock is a Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) specialist.
Details: Involta, a provider of IT services and end-to-end infrastructure, acquired IT managed services firm ITLynk of Independence, Ohio.
Acquisition: Starnet Data Design
Details: Starnet, which operates mainly in California and Arizona, has been in business for more than 30 years. ISSQUARED says the acquisition will help the company push deeper into the SMB market. The combined organization will continue to be headquartered in the Greater Los Angeles area of California.
Acquisition: ExecuSoft Controls
Details: ITVantix acquired ExecuSoft Controls, uniting two Georgia-area managed IT services providers.
Buyer: Kayne Partners
Details: CareWorx, a Top 100 Vertical Market MSP focused on senior healthcare facilities, closed a $17 million round of funding from Kayne Partners. around March 2018. CareWorx merged with another MSP later in the year.
Buyer: Kerr Office Group
Acquisition: Office Environment Company
Details: In this deal, two Kentucky office supply companies with some managed print services (MPS expertise merged. Elizabethtown’s Kerr Office Group and the Louisville area’s Office Environment Company made the joint announcement.
Buyer: Konica Minolta Business Solutions
Details: VioPoint, a cybersecurity consulting firm in Auburn Hills, Michigan, essentially tucked into Konica’s All Covered managed IT services division.
Buyer: Konica Minolta Business Solutions
Acquisition: MWS Intelligence Inc.
Details: MWA Intelligence is an SAP partner that developed an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platform for the imaging channel. The MWA team joined All Covered, which is the IT services division of Konica Minolta.
Acquisition: Adoxio Business Solutions
Details: KPMG Canada acquired Adoxio Business Solutions, a Microsoft Dynamics 365 integrator and gold-level partner.
