    Bob Biddle:

    The need for safety and security across all devices has never been greater as this Internet of Everything phenomena literally explodes and today we see not only our mobile devices but our home thermostats to our dishwashers to our automobiles IP addressable. Security is a critical (especially on that mobile device that is the point of control for so many things in the I of E ecosystem) and the game is changing rapidly with chip level technology (TEE) striving to stay steps ahead of the dreaded hack.

      Hey Bob: Thanks for weighing in. Hope all is well with you. Agreed. Security has got to be far more present at the hardware level. Intel promised that very strategy with the McAfee buyout back in 2010 (has it been that long?), but I sense that startups are really leading the charge here. Also, the conversation seems to be shifting beyond devices (still important, of course) toward sensors and other types of endpoints that gather and manage data…
