5 . Cisco Calls for Privacy: Cisco is calling on the U.S. government to develop a US federal privacy law that assures customers their data is protected. The American system should not just look to solve for today's privacy discussions around monetization of customer data; it should aim to solve for the complex privacy needs of a world where tens of billions of devices are connected to the internet, the networking giant says...

4. SolarWinds Financial Results: SolarWinds' revenues were $221.2 million in Q4 2018, compared to $198.4 million in the corresponding quarter for 2017. The financial results generally exceeded Wall Street's expectations. The company's SolarWinds MSP division expanded its network device monitoring capabilities during the quarter.

3. Partner Program - IT Monitoring: LogicMonitor has launched a partner program that spans resellers, systems integrators, MSPs and technology integrators. The company develops cloud-based performance monitoring software for enterprise IT customers and partners. Chief Revenue Officer Mark Banfield, a veteran of Autotask and Datto, is driving the partner effort. LogicMonitor's private equity parent, Vista Equity Partners, also owns Datto.

2. M&A - Accenture & Financial Services: Accenture has completed its acquisition of select professional-services employees at Zafin — based in CanadaIndia and the U.K. Those team members have joined Accenture’s global Financial Services practice.
