Founded in 1988, the Spartanburg, South Carolina-based MCA provides its services to more than 10,000 customers. Its customers include public safety institutions and large corporate clients. The company sells Land Mobile Radios and related network infrastructure products and offers services across the communications solutions lifecycle, including design, installation, and ongoing maintenance and repair. MCA’s primary focus is in the United States Southeast.
MCA Ownership History
MCA was acquired in 2013 by WJ Partners. Since then it has completed 16 add-on acquisitions and grown to more than 500 employees across 41 locations in seven states.
“MCA is one of the largest communications solutions providers of its type in North America and is well positioned to deliver highly technical, scalable, and mission critical–grade services,” said Scott Perry, a Sentinel partner.
MCA CEO Vince Foody added: “MCA’s success is built on key relationships fostered by an established culture of service-first, engagement, collaboration, and trust which is written in our DNA. We look forward to partnering with Sentinel and leveraging its experience to help us grow.”
