Private equity firm The Acacia Group has acquired technology consulting and services company The Baer Group, an SAP partner that has extended into the Oracle and Salesforce ecosystems. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This is technology M&A deal number 507 that ChannelE2E has covered so far in 2022.

The Baer Group: Business Background

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the Baer Group is an SAP, Oracle and Salesforce partner. The company’s clients include Fortune 500 companies in a variety of sectors including life sciences, consumer products and retail. Baer specializes in enterprise resource planning (ERP), cloud integration and data transformation. It also works closely with federal systems integrators to support U.S. government programs.

The deal fits into Acacia’s strategy to build businesses that can provide digital transformation services to government and commercial organizations. The Baer Group will form a new platform business within Acacia’s portfolio, the firm said.

The acquisition follows Acacia's 2020 acquisition of TradeHelm, a nearshore software development business based in Argentina.
