SAP Partner Acquisition: Vision33 Buys UK’s B1 Systems
Vision33, an IT consulting firm, has acquired B1 Systems of the United Kingdom. Both companies are SAP Business One cloud application deployment partners. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
SAP Business One is a cloud-based ERP (enterprise resource planning) software suite for small businesses.
Privately owned Vision33 has operated for over 25 years and has offices in six countries. By acquiring B1 Systems, Vision33 gains two new UK office locations, and all B1 Systems employees will remain with the company.
Explaining the deal, Vision33 Managing Director Neil Feingold said:
“This acquisition brings a host of talent to Vision33 in the UK, supporting our goal – to transform businesses and ensure they experience value from having the right technology, implemented the right way.”
Brendan Mizzi, director and co-founder of B1 Systems, said:
“Vision33 has had enormous success with SAP Business One through the continued innovation of the products and services they bring to their customers – leveraging SAP HANA, cloud, and mobile solutions for SAP Business One.”
SAP Partners: Mergers and Acquisitions
More than 65,000 small and midsize customers run SAP Business One. The suite supports such departments as financials, operations, and human resources and is used in over 150 countries.
Mergers and acquisitions within the SAP partner ecosystem have remained steady over the last two years. In many cases, companies have looked to shore up talent or regional influence as more customers look to migrate from on-premise applications to cloud-based SAP options.
