SWK Technologies Acquires Sage CRM Partner ISM
SWK Technologies has acquired Information Systems Management Inc. (ISM), a Sage channel partner and West Coast-based reseller of ERP, CRM and other solutions, the companies have confirmed. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2001, ISM provides software-related services along with implementation, including customization, process analysis and training courses. The company has offices in Portland, San Diego, Phoenix and Washington, D.C.
SWK Technologies, part of SilverSun Technologies, is an IT consulting company that develops and provides on-premises and cloud solutions — including such applications as Sage ERP, Acumatica and Oracle NetSuite. The company also has a network services division that provides IT infrastructure management, security, backup, and business continuity services.
SWK & ISM: Familiar Partners
SWK and ISM have worked together for many years and know each other well, according to ISM President BJ O’Reilly. “The customer‐focused approach and corporate culture at SWK is almost identical to ours,” he said in a prepared statement. “We have tremendous opportunities in front of us, and the size and scale of the combined organizations will provide us with the resources to take full advantage of these opportunities. We’re better together, and clients on both sides will benefit from this transaction.”
Added SWK CEO Mark Meller: “ISM and SWK are ideal fits for each other. BJ has done a spectacular job in building and growing a profitable, high-quality organization. The talent, skills and expertise that he and his partner, Carla Brown, bring to our organization, the technical infrastructure and ability to host an array of business applications for our customers, and the geographic differentiation make ISM an excellent acquisition for SWK on many levels.”
BJ joins SWK as CTO to help drive SWK’s organic growth strategies, while Carla Brown becomes VP of partners and alliances, the companies announced.
CRM Partner Mergers, Acquisitions
This is the latest in a growing list of CRM- and ERP-related partner acquisitions across the IT services provider market. Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce and SAP partners have been buying each other to gain regional reach and scale.
