The deal follows a 15-year partnership between the companies. SHI, which is one of North America's largest IT providers, eventually decided to acquire CTG to help meet the growing demand for training, the company said.

Founded in 1991, CTG provides live instructor-led classroom sessions, live online webinars, and self-paced e-learning courses, to a global list of customers. The company will maintain its headquarters while its employees will join the SHI staff.

Lisa Eyerkuss, President of CTG, commented on the deal:

“Like SHI, CTG is a certified woman-owned business, and we’re proud to have provided all of SHI’s internal training and served its many customers for 15 years. Through this acquisition, we will be able to offer all of our clients more complete technology solutions, and SHI will now be able to offer training as part of its world-class service.”

As part of the deal, CTG veteran Rob Eyerkuss III, shifts to senior director of the Corporate Training Group within SHI’s Enterprise Solutions Group.
