Office1 Acquires Chaparral Business Machines: Market Focus
Office1 opened its doors in 1982 as Alternative Office Systems. The company, which is partnered with Ricoh and Samsung, changed its name in 2017 and now has more than 200 employees across Las Vegas and San Diego.
Meanwhile, most of Chaparral’s employees will stay on board, along with executives Michael Munns and Ralph Reese, the company said. Chaparral’s General Manager Phil Cagliero will remain in a consulting capacity, the company confirmed to ChannelE2E.
Mike Dudek and Rich Wisniewski of Zygoquest Group advised Chaparral and its owners Phil Cagliero, Ralph Reese, Jr. and Michael Munns on the deal.
Zygoquest has consulted on at least eight M&A deals in 2019, and dozens more in recent years. Recently, the firm was a key part of RPG Squarefoot Solutions’ acquisition of G&H Service Company.
