ServiceNow SecOps Partner M&A: InSource Buys Beck

InSource has acquired Beck Strategies, a security operations (SecOps) and integrated risk management consulting firm. Both companies are MSPs and ServiceNow Elite Partners. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

InSource, founded in 2000, is based in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The company has 121 employees listed on LinkedIn. In addition to ServiceNow know-how and staffing resources, InSource has expertise in the Snowflake data management and Okta identity management markets. Also, InSource has its own software — called StandardizedPro — for asset visibility and management.

Beck Strategies, founded in 2018, is based in Tampa, Florida. The company has 30 employees listed on LinkedIn. In addition to consulting expertise, Beck has developed Easy Map — which allows system administrators to identify business rules, access control lists, client scripts, UI Actions, and UI Policies that are associated with a form or particular field.

In a prepared statement about the deal, InSource CEO Mark Lafond said:

“What we have seen from our clients is a broadening need within the ServiceNow ecosystem where one can deliver on multiple workflow requirements throughout an organization. We feel that BECK Strategies is a leader in two of the fastest growing segments on the ServiceNow platform which is Security Operations and Integrated Risk Management. BECK Strategies has experience providing Managed Services to clients and we see this as a growth area for both ServiceNow license and implementation sales. This level of expertise and experience will be key drivers in our double-digit growth plan for this year and beyond.”
