F12.net Acquires OnDeck Systems, Expands into British Columbia
Starting in 1992, one man’s computing hobby started to develop into an entrepreneurial venture. The company born from that hobby is F12.net — and it has seen tremendous growth over the last 25 years.
Some of the growth involves acquisitions — including the just-confirmed buyout of OnDeck Systems. Financial terms were not disclosed.
“With the fast pace of the IT industry and a growing demand for nation-wide services, F12’s acquisition of OnDeck aligns with our strategy to supply the province of British Columbia with all-inclusive IT service programs that propel organizations forward,” said Alex Webb, CEO of F12.net in a prepared statement.
With a strong focus on customer service, OnDeck will also bring to the table a talented team with advanced certifications from companies such as HP, Okidata, Fujitsu, Lexmark, Epson, Cisco, Microsoft, and more.
Naomi and Steve Carmichael, the owners of OnDeck, are joining F12 in two key business roles. Naomi will become the Regional Manager for Vancouver Island, and Steve as Regional IT Manager. Under the F12 brand, OnDeck will continue to deliver tailored services while leveraging F12’s service offerings, vendor partnerships, and data center capabilities.
F12 offers services like:
- IT systems strategy
- Hardware and software procurement
- Lifecycle management
- Installation and employee training
- Line of business applications management and support
- Enhanced cyber threat protection, monitoring and reporting
- Continuous client feedback scoring to improve services
This announcement marks F12’s third acquisition for the company in the last two years and the fifth overall — including the 2016 deal to acquire Xcel Professional Services. More M&A deals could be coming. Indeed, F12 has a dedicated place on its website for companies looking to merge.
