DISYS Acquires Xtreme for AI, DevOps, Cloud Management Expertise

Digital Intelligence Systems (DISYS), a provider talent and IT project solutions, is acquiring Xtreme Consulting Group, a talent and IT solutions company based in the Pacific Northwest with operations throughout the US, DISYS has confirmed.

The deal is expected to be finalized by May 11. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Xtreme, based in Kirkland, Washington, was founded in 2005. Revenue exceeded $76 million in 2017, and the 550-person company and has landed on the Inc. 500 list as one of the country’s  fastest-growing companies — though we’re not sure which year the honor occurred.

DISYS, headquartered in McLean, Va., expects to have approximately 3,600 employees worldwide once the deal closes.

Among the key services DISYS gains, according to an FAQ about the deal:

  1. AI-powered cloud management platforms for private and public cloud environments
  2. Customer experience (CX) platforms powered by Chatbots and AI
  3. Skills enhancement platform that has up-skilled 4 million+ technology experts to date
  4. MVP development teams powered by DevOps experts offering rapid product delivery from low-cost US regions.

Describing the deal’s value, DISYS CEO Mahfuz Ahmed said in a prepared statement:

Our customers increasingly seek critical talent and technical solutions to help them manage rapidly changing environments that are increasingly focused on efficiency. The is the latest in a growing list of M&A deals involving staffing firms that have IT solutions provider expertise.
