Congruity360 Acquires NextGen Storage to Expand Cloud Consulting Services

John Downey

Businesses everywhere are rapidly trading in their traditional on-premise servers for cloud-based solutions. The reduced maintenance costs and high availability of cloud services are just a couple of the reasons for the switch. Still, migrating all that customer data to the cloud is a challenging journey.

With that reality in mind, NextGen Storage has been helping companies bridge this gap using a DataFirst methodology that combines a cloud-readiness assessment service with cloud-integrated data storage technologies. The result is an accelerated implementation of fundamental hybrid-cloud components, the company claims. This differentiated approach produces immediate value related to cloud transformation while reducing time to market, vendor lock-in, risk, and cost, NextGen asserts.

True believers include Congruity360, an MSP focused on enterprise data management. Indeed, the company is acquiring NextGen. The reason: NextGen’s cloud-integrated data storage and data management technologies, coupled with software-defined cloud-interconnect services, can help Congruity360 innovate with an enhanced value proposition in distributed data management, the company claims.

NextGen founder John Downey has been named Chief Technology Officer of Congruity360. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Congruity360 focuses on simplifying and optimizing data management needs by focusing on:

  • Reducing IT capital via expert consultations & system building
  • Reducing time spent to complete projects by leveraging our staff of expert engineers
  • Reducing risk by increasing security & defensibility and safely destroying old data

Recently Congruity360 partnered with KNJ, Inc., and is looking to grow significantly through the end of 2017 by expanding its customer base and strengthening partner relationships. The company is also planning to open an Executive Briefing Center, housed within its Data Center in Fall River, Mass., next month. It will serve as a training and collaboration hub for business partners and features a state-of-the-art demo lab, ample conference space, and breakout rooms, the company claims.
