Neustar Unveils Cloud Security Partner Program
The Cloud Security Partner Program enables channel partners to provide Neustar domain name server (DNS), distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) mitigation and IP intelligence services to customers.
It also enables channel partners to capitalize on the rising demand for cloud security solutions, according to Neustar Vice President of Worldwide Channels Lee Finck.
“Over the past few years, delivering security and infrastructure services via the cloud has become a pillar in the business plans of high-growth channel partners,” Finck said in a prepared statement. “Our new channel program takes advantage of this timing.”
A Closer Look at the Cloud Security Partner Program
The Cloud Security Partner Program provides channel partners with cloud security solutions and service-level agreements (SLAs), and the program’s features include:
- Automated opportunity registration.
- Market development funds.
- Marketing tools and assets.
- Secure access to Partner Portal.
- Training and support.
In addition, Neustar works with technology partners to offer multiple deployment methods, including hybrid and on-premise solutions. This provides channel partners with “the ultimate flexibility” to meet customers’ needs, Neustar noted.
Bitglass Announces Channel Partner Program
The Neustar Cloud Security Partner Program represents one of several programs designed to help channel partners provide cloud security and integration support.
Cloud access security broker (CASB) Bitglass last month introduced the Bitglass Authorized Reseller (BAR) channel partner program, which is designed to help organizations move to the cloud.
The BAR program provides channel partners with digital marketing resources, lead generation support and access to a demo environment where they can simulate actual customer environments, Bitglass stated. Moreover, BAR program goals include town halls and other channel events to engage channel partners and drive partner investment.
The Future of Cloud Security
The global cloud security sector is growing, which is reflected in several market projections.
Markets and Markets has predicted the global cloud security sector will be worth $8.7 billion by 2019, up from $4.2 billion in 2014. Also, Technavio has projected this market will expand at a 20 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2016 and 2020.
