Node4 Acquires Microsoft Dynamics 365 Partner TNP

European MSP Node4, backed by private equity firm Providence Equity Partners, has acquired Microsoft Dynamics 365 cloud consulting partner TNP to push deeper into the cloud ERP (enterprise resource planning) market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Node4 and TNP: MSP and Business Application Background

TNP, with 260 employees, claims to be the largest pure-play Microsoft partner in the United Kingdom. The seller is a Gold Microsoft Partner across ERP, Application Development and Cloud Platform, and additional Microsoft certifications including Small and Mid-Market Cloud Solutions, Data Analytics and Application Integration, TNP says.

TNP, which serves more than 540 customers, is based in the UK, with offices in Newbury and Manchester, and operates a support and development facility in Portugal.

Under Node4’s ownership, TNP will continue to operate as an individual business unit led by Executive Chairman Paul White. Key lieutenants include Chief Commercial Officer Paul Wellingham, along with Founder and Chief Architect Ian Humphries.

Meanwhile, Node4’s overall service catalog spans remote working, security, connectivity, data center hosting, cloud services and unified communciations.

Multiple third-party advisors assisted Node4 on the deal, including Weil Gotshal (Legal), FTI Consulting (Financial DD), and KPMG (Tax DD and Structuring), the buyer said.
