Lawsuit: Judge Rules iYogi Must Pay OneCall $160K

iYogi must pay OneCall $160,206.94, according to a United States District Court summary judgment, according to legal documents viewed by ChannelE2E. This is the second recent summary judgment against iYogi, an embattled IT services provider that has faced multiple lawsuits alleging breach of contract.

OneCall filed suit against iYogi in February 2016, alleging the IT services provider didn't pay overdue invoices from OneCall. The two companies apparently explored a settlement in April 2016 but no such deal ever materialized.

OneCall pursued a summary judgment against iYogi, which a United States District Court granted on October 14. Under terms of the judgment, OneCall may collect $145,270 from iYogi plus $14, 936.94 in prejudgment interest, the court ruled. It's unclear if iYogi will appeal the ruling.

In a similar case, a judge in September 2016 ruled iYogi must pay Tata $1.24 million. Additional cases against the IT services provider are still pending.

iYogi's Legal Troubles

iYogi, based in India, offers remote IT support services to more than 3 million customers across 11 countries, the company says.

Multiple lawsuits against iYogi surfaced in 2015 and 2016, claiming everything from unpaid bills to IT support scams. The company in late 2015 claimed at least one lawsuit was without merit, but iYogi has not responded to multiple requests for comment from ChannelE2E since that time.
