MSP Acquisition: Fully Managed Buys Kedsey Consulting
Fully Managed, a fast-growing Canadian managed services provider (MSP), has acquired Kedsey Consulting, a midmarket IT services firm with a strong footprint in Vancouver. In addition to traditional managed IT services, Kedsey also has database design expertise. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Fully Managed ranked N0. 32 in our Top 100 Vertical Market MSP list for 2017, and the company was No. 1 in the manufacturing report. The list, culled from ChannelE2E’s research, is based on annual recurring revenues in specific vertical markets.
Fully Managed also is known for founder Chris Day’s success in the software market; he’s now CEO of IT Glue — the fast-growing provider of documentation software for MSPs. Joel Abramson, meanwhile, leads Fully Managed as CEO.
As part of the Kedsey acquisition, Fully Managed will add Matt Tipping, founder of Kedsey, and Leily Madani, a technician, to its Vancouver-based staff. The executive continuity should help ensure Kedsey’s clients experience a smooth transition. Both companies felt the deal was a great fit due to their client focus of “Creating Peace of Mind” for businesses.
