Neo4j's 'Acqui-Hire' From DTA

The "acqui-hire," as the company is calling it, will expand the company's reach to enterprise customers that want to deploy the company's graph database quickly in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, the company said. DTA founder and CEO Sanjay Tikku will lead the offering at Neo4j, overseeing teams across the U.S. and India. Neo4j and DTA began their partnership in 2017, providing 24x7 service and support to enterprise customers across North America, EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and South America, the companies said.

Alyson Welch, Chief Revenue Officer, Neo4j, commented on the news:

"Customers are leveraging graphs to help solve their most pressing business challenges, from generative AI to fraud detection, customer 360, knowledge graphs, supply chain, and more. This is due to graph's unique ability to find hidden relationships and patterns across billions of data connections. As graph scales across multiple data environments, it simply made sense to integrate Sanjay and his brilliant team of Neo4j CMS experts within Neo4j itself."

Sanjay Tikku, founder and CEO, DTA, added:

"Graph solves a pain point for enterprises who otherwise find it increasingly complex, painstaking, slow, and expensive to manage and understand the relationships across billions of data connections. This is why Neo4j's technology is used today by more than 75% of the Fortune 100 – and it's just the beginning. I'm thrilled to provide customers with more choices and control over Neo4j deployment models, enabling them to achieve scale, performance, efficiency, and compliance."

Neo4j's next-generation cloud-ready graph database became generally available last November. The graph database offering, along with the company's Graph Data Science analytics and machine learning platform, helped the company achieve double-digit growth in 2022 after crossing $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in 2021, according to Neo4j.
