CyberFox, a provider of privileged access management (PAM) and password management for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT Pros, has added a huge industry name to its executive lineup. Wes Spencer is joining the company as the new vice president of cybersecurity strategy.
Spencer was the co-founder and CISO of Perch Security and also served as VP, External CSO at MSP platform giant ConnectWise. Since he departed those roles he's continued to serve as an educator and advisor in the channel.
Spencer has also served on various corporate and industry advisory boards and also worked as a professor of Information Security.
Wes Spencer's New Role and Focus
CyberFox said Spencer's focus will be to:
- Help identify and create product focus strategies moving forward.
- Lead internal and external thought leadership initiatives.
- Work with product marketing and development teams on short and long-term roadmaps for success.
- Help partners in their cybersecurity journey to continue to build cybersecurity maturity.
