Bomgar Launches Secure Remote Access Channel Partner Program
Bomgar, which develops remote control and privileged access management software, has launched a new partner program. Less than one-third of Bomgar’s current bookings involving the channel, so there’s lots of room for growth on the partner front.
The new program will make it easier for partners to engage with the company as it simplifies partner levels, offers deal registration and protection, and delivers more localized training, Bomgar said.
The program focuses on strengthening ties with partners that can “extend the value of Bomgar’s Secure Access solutions through sales, implementation, integration, and managed services.”
Bomgar’s Software Focus
Bomgar’s technology allows security and IT professionals t0 access to nearly any device or system. The cornerstones of the company’s offerings are its Bomgar Privileged Access and Bomgar Remote Support.
- Remote Support is used by thousands of service and support organizations to access and troubleshoot Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android devices and apps.
- Privileged Access allows organizations to control, monitor, and manage privileged access to critical systems by insiders and third-parties. Additionally, Bomgar’s enterprise password management solution, Bomgar Vault, helps companies secure, manage, and administer shared passwords and credentials.
Bomgar Channel Leadership
The announcement follows the appointment of Kevin Crow to VP of worldwide channels and alliances at the Atlanta, Georgia-based company.
Crow most recently worked for IBM where he served as Senior Director of Alliances and Partnerships but has spent more than 10 years in the industry.
More than 12,000 organizations in 80 countries use Bomgar services, the company asserts. The privately owned company has offices in Atlanta, Jackson, Washington DC, Frankfurt, London, Paris, and Singapore. The company’s competition includes remote access alternatives from ConnectWise, GoToAssist, and DameWare among many others.
