A. What’s Hot Today

1. Cisco Leadership: Cisco is combining its enterprise and data center networking. Also, the company is renaming its existing cloud computing software business, expanding it to include server products and appointing a new head of the group, Liz Centoni, The Information reports.

2. Monitoring – Google Cloud Platform: cPacket Networks, a provider of hybrid network monitoring and traffic analysis for security and performance, now support Google Cloud Platform (GCP)‘s Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) feature.

3. Small Business Communications: Sprint has unveiled a new small business phone service called Omni.

1. MSP Education: MSPs have completed more than 38,000 sessions across roughly 120 courses hosted in the MSP Institute, an online service that SolarWinds launched in February 2019. The institute is hosted withon the SolarWinds Customer Success Center.

3. Business Automation – ServiceNow: Unisys CloudForte for ServiceNow is now available. It allows customers to “automate and accelerate secure digital transformation and cloud operations utilizing ServiceNow enterprise platform services,” Unisys asserts.

4. UK Distribution – Google Chromebooks: Getech Distribution has agreed to distribute Acer’s Chromebook Enterprise devices.
