10. Micro Focus Implodes: Micro Focus International stock fell 50 percent amid a weak revenue forecast and CEO change. Critics believe Micro Focus's buyout of certain HP Enterprise software assets is not performing well.

9. Self Service Office 365: Total One, a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider, has introduced self-service Office 365 capabilities for small and midsize enterprise (SME) customers. Within a few minutes, customers can select and configure Microsoft IT products and services, Total One claims. The company did not disclose pricing models and potential profit margins from the service.

8. Cloud Managed Services Market Forecast: The international market for cloud managed services will reach $86.4 billion by 2022, generating a compound annual growth rate of 9.6 percent, according to Transparency Market Research.

7. IT Management: SolarWinds has upgraded Storage Resource Monitor (SRM) to support more all-flash arrays (AFAs), and Server & Application Monitor (SAM) permits deeper visibility into interactions between a set of servers running critical business applications. Those tools mainly target corporate IT professionals, though SolarWinds also owns a MSP-focused business unit -- aptly named SolarWinds MSP.

5. Google Cloud Acquisitions: Google Cloud is looking to make major acquisitions, though finding strategic deals at reasonable valuations is challenging, Bloomberg reports.

4. M&A - DRaaS: InterVision has acquired Bluelock, a which specializes in Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions.

3. M&A - AWS Consulting: Deloitte is acquiring API Talent, a New New Zealand-based IT consulting firm focused on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud infrastructure technologies.

2. M&A: Lloyd's Register has acquired Nettitude as it looks to bolster its cybersecurity services offering, including key MSSP services.

1. Merger - IT Services:  Paragon Development Systems (PDS) and Works Computing Inc. are merging. Both companies provide IT solutions to a broad set of clients in multiple markets. We'll share more details soon.
