Good morning, channel partners. Here are five technology news updates, insights, chatter, and plenty more to start your day for Monday, November 13, 2017.

Actually, there are 10 timely updates designed for VARs, managed services providers (MSPs), cloud services providers (CSPs), independent software vendors (ISVs), telco master agents and telco agents to sip on. Take a look

8. Targeted Cisco Layoffs: Cisco apparently has cut 60 employees from various cloud operations in recent days, according to The Information. If true, the layoffs aren't all that surprising. The effort includes a new relationship with ConnectWise to embrace MSPs in the SMB sector.

7. HPE Blockchain Services: Hewlett Packard Enterprise has unveiled the first product in the HPE Mission Critical Blockchain family. The offering is called Mission Critical Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT); the solution enables customers to run distributed ledger workloads on the highest availability enterprise platforms, HPE says. Rivals IBM, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure have aggressively launched various Blockchain offerings in recent months.

6. Ingram Growth: Ingram Micro's Q3 sales surged 14 percent to $11.66 billion, led by strong demand for technology solutions and mobility distribution. We expect to hear plenty more about the company's business momentum and 2018 strategy during the Ingram ONE conference later this month.

5. Inclusive Tech Culture: Tech Data has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). It's the 13th consecutive year that Tech Data has received a perfect score on the CEI, a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the distributor said.

4. Fast 500 Companies: Deloitte's latest Fast 500 list -- tracking hot tech companies from across North America -- has surfaced here.

3. AI vs. Offshore Outsourcing:  The outsourcing industry in the Philippines, which has dethroned India as the country with the most call centers in the world, is worried that the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) will eat into the $23 billion sector, Reuters explains...

2. IT Service Desks: ManageEngine has integrated its endpoint management application, called Desktop Central, with Zendesk’s help desk platform, Zendesk Support.

1. That's a Wrap: Here's everything you missed at last week's IT Nation 2017 conference, hosted by ConnectWise.
