7. Hosting Exit: Germany's United Internet is selling a stake in its web-hosting business to private equity firm Warburg Pincus, netting $497 million for the deal but delaying a public listing of the business beyond next year, Reuters reported.

2. Wide Area Traffic Management: Sinefa, which specializes in traffic visibility particularly over wide area networks and the Internet, is making some noise at IT Nation. It's a multi-tenant platform with about 175 partners onboard, according to John Milionis, head of business development.
