13. Bank Financial Hack: Britain's National Crime Agency (NCA) is leading a criminal investigation into the theft of money from thousands of bank accounts at Tesco Bank, a unit of Tesco Plc (TSCO.L), according to a statement from the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), Reuters reported.

12. Pure, Nutanix Show Momentum: A recent channel check reveals growing partner momentum for Pure Storage and Nutanix, according to Barclays computer hardware analyst Mark Moskowitz. Hmmm...

11. IT Services M&A: Insight Enterprises is acquiring Datalink for $258 million -- or a 19 percent premium over Datalink's recent stock price. Datalink, which has 570 employees, specializes in data center services. The company had $765 million in 2015 revenue. At that level the deal was valued at only about one-third annual revenues...

10. Data Center M&A: Zayo Group Holdings has completed a $12.8 million acquisition of a data center in Santa Clara, the company’s first data center in Northern California. The Bay Area represents one of Zayo’s most extensive metro dark fiber footprints encompassing 1,500 route miles. The expansion is driven by strong customer demand in Northern California leveraging interplay between data center and Communications Infrastructure

9. IoT Monitoring: Mesa Laboratories has acquired FreshLoc Technologies, which develops a cloud-based monitoring platform that remotely tracks environmental factors like temperature, humidity, differential pressure, door closure state, and more. Key customers include hospitals.

8. Strategic Investment: CSC has made a strategic investment in eBECS Ltd., the 2016 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year for the United Kingdom. eBECS will be CSC’s Channel Delivery Partner for Microsoft Dynamics Business Solutions within the United Kingdom, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and other areas of EMEA and North America. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

7. SD-WAN Management: Viptela has inked a technical partnership with CA Technologies. The deal will integrate Viptela’s Software Defined-Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) platform with CA Performance Management and CA Virtual Network Assurance. The net result should be improved real-time management of SD-WANs.

6. Synnex Varnex: Lenovo is set to keynote this morning's Synnex Varnex Fall 2016. I'm not sure if the focus will be endpoint computing or software-defined data centers -- or something in between. We'll be on hand for the discussion...

5. Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring: New Relic will launch its Infrastructure Monitoring platform next week during the company's FutureStack 2016 conference. This could be a very big deal for MSPs over the long haul. We'll share more details -- including perspectives from New Relic CEO Lew Cirne -- later today.

4. Carbonite CEO: Mohamad Ali says the cloud backup company is just getting started with hardware appliances. Where do channel partners fit into the Carbonite conversation? We'll share Ali's thoughts later today...
