N-able CEO John Pagliuca: The 2024 MSP Market

If you are looking for insights into the challenges and opportunities ahead for MSPs in 2024, plus you want to know what’s on MSP platform provider N-able’s roadmap for the year, ChannelE2E has you covered.

We interviewed N-able CEO John Pagliuca about the key issues including cybersecurity, automation, and cloud infrastructure and APIs. Here’s the interview:

The following are some of the highlights:

1:25: Why N-able has developed their own MDR, and why it is so important for MSPs to offer cybersecurity services to their customers.

4:11: What will make N-able's MDR service a different and better offering for MSPs to provide to their customers.

4:23: Managing cloud infrastructure and the APIs that make it all work. What has N-able done here, and what's coming down the road?

6:44: Managing Microsoft Azure, 365 and InTune are a few cloud projects that MSPs are managing on a regular basis, and N-able is looking to make that easier.

8:42: The key verbs for MSPs are Automate, Standardize, and Augment. It's important for MSPs to automate and standardize their tech stacks to avoid inefficiencies and drive profitability.

10:21: Augment is a new verb coming into play this year for MSPs. They already do this with co-managed arrangements. But they also need to augment their own services with cybersecurity.

13:02: Some MSPs are leading with cybersecurity services now and that will be more of a big deal in 2024. That's because basic help desk and network services are no longer enough to differentiate yourself in the market. MSPs should also focus on offering cybersecurity and compliance services, especially as compliance and regulations become more prevalent across a host of industries.

15:29: How N-able plans to help MSPs meet all these challenges in 2024.
